Kilshane House Wedding – Rhadhika & Shane

kilshane house wedding15We knew this Kilshane House wedding would really be something unique. Just like the couple themselves. Rhadhika is from Singapore, Shane is from Ireland, and they both live in Singapore. Having photographed at Kilshane House before, we just knew as one of Ireland’s fantastic wedding venues, and as Shane’s home country, this Kilshane House wedding was going to be the perfect setting for Rhadhika and Shane.

The morning preparations started with Rhadhika getting ready in one of the main bedrooms of at Kilshane House surrounded by the lively buzz of bridesmaids and family. Shane took a trip down memory lane, starting his getting ready preparations at his families farm, surrounded by his own family and groomsmen. Prior to the wedding ceremony, Shane and some of his wedding party stopped by the local pub which was conveniently located across the road from the church. An obligatory stop when you’re choosing to visit and or get married in Ireland.
Rhadhika made an absolutely stunning bride. Her beaming smile shone throughout the whole day. Her happiness is clear to see in all the photos. Shane the same. Rhadhika helped design her very own wedding dress and you could hear the excitement in the church when she started to walk up the aisle. She looked radiant and her dress was very unique. In the shade of blush, she made a blushing bride.

Once we arrived back at the venue, we made use of Kilshane House for some bridal portraits. We visited their Japanese Gardens, the boat house, the secret garden, made use of the grand staircase and gathered their families out the back of Kilshane House for some family photos, which finished with both families throwing dried flower petals at the couple. After the evening speeches and meal, we made more time to visit Kilshane House’s Orangerie, which was the perfect location for Rhadhika’s and Shane’s drinks reception earlier on in the day. With it’s palm trees, other lush greeneries, trickling water fountain and exotic birds in vintage bird cages it was a perfect atmosphere for evening photos, so we queued the rooms twinkle lights for those evening bridal portraits.

From the harpist playing music, little kids playing in the water fountain, the canapés, the ambience, the food. Everything went off perfectly, and it was clear to see Rhadhika, Shane, and all their families and guests having the time of their lives. The perfect day! We thank Rhadhika and Shane for letting us be part of their Kilshane house wedding day!
