Irish Wedding Photographer David Frain | Maria & Paul’s Cliff At Lyons Wedding
Maria and Paul met while attending collage in Carlow and were on a night out. It wasn’t long after that Paul proposed while the couple were on holiday in Portugal. Maria and Paul are a very down to earth, relaxed couple, and were an absolute pleasure to photograph.
Their beautiful ceremony took place at the Church of the Sacred Heart and St. Brigid, Kilcullen in, Co. Kildare. The reception itsself was held at The Cliff At Lyons. This proved to be a absolutely spectacular venue for the occasion. The waterfalls, the old mill, the sunshine, the lighting and the charisma of the venues rooms themselves were everything any couple could ever dream of.
The wedding day was held in Ireland, in March, yet under the palm trees at Cliff At Lyons, it very easily could have been summer time in Lago De Como, Italy. Proving that Ireland can stand side by side with some of the best wedding destinations from around the world.
After the ceremony, there was an obligatory pit stop at the local pub, where the lads could get in a bit of the Rugby, and the girls could get in a bit of a chat, prior to the reception festivities.
