Mairéad and Charlie met at Solas Bar on Wexford Street in Dublin, and interestingly Charlie proposed to Mairéad while they were on a trek in the Atlas Mountains in Marrakesh.
The couple were married at St. Mary’s Church, in Drogheda Co. Louth and the reception was held on the stunning grounds of Castle Bellingham.
The weather on the day was like an afternoon in California, which gave us a chance to use the sunshine to create some lovely images with the shadows of the bride groom.
A memorable moment was when a resident Irish wolf hound followed us around for the wedding portraits, so we had a bit of fun with that.
With Mairéad being a teacher, it allowed for some additional lovely elements to be brought in, like table settings including the detention, staff room and science lab.
The couple were so laid back, relaxed and a pleasure to photograph.
