Driving through Howth in the early morning sunshine on my way to photograph Konstantina, golden sunlight shimmering on the sea, I had a feeling this was going to be a good day. When I arrived to find a breakfast of champagne and macaroons I knew it was going to be a great day! The fantastic blue Rolls Royce in the driveway was a perfect match for the bridesmaids’ navy lace gowns and even Konstantina’s parents were dressed to match the elegant blue and navy colour scheme. Konstantina herself was the picture of beauty and happiness, standing outside the house in the glorious Autumn sunshine releasing white balloons her family & friends had written messages on for good luck.
Konstantina and Daragh met in the doorway of a lecture theatre in Trinity College so the spectacular chapel at Trinity was the perfect place for their beautiful wedding. This must be one of the most picturesque churches in the county and the beautiful grounds of Trinity are an ideal place for a bridal photoshoot, especially on a day as gorgeous as this one. The early ceremony even left time in the afternoon to chillout in the Pav with a few cans of Bavaria for old times sake.
Onwards to Killashee House Hotel for the reception. Our luck with the weather continued and the gorgeous golden light of the evening streamed through the magnificent gardens and gazebos of the victorian house’s grounds. The party that followed was so good I couldn’t bring myself to leave and ended up still there at midnight taking it all in! Indoor sparklers added that little extra magic and romance during the first dance and a spectacular fire spinning show was the perfect end to the day.
Fantastic couple, amazing venues and perfect golden weather all day… you can’t ask for more than that! Thanks for a fantastic day Konstantina & Daragh! Huge congratulations to you both!
