Winter Wedding Tips | Irish Wedding Photographer David Frain
In the winter months it’s important to remember that days are shorter, weather is unpredictable, and those important outside shots require a good parameter of daylight. The sun generally sets between 4-4:30pm so I encourage arriving at the venue while there is at least an hour of daylight left. We stay up to date with the weather forecast, but it’s still important to remember, although Winter months can be harder to work with, they generally provide us the ability to capture stunning wedding portraits outside. Whether that means bringing the rain or snow into the shot, capturing silhouettes of the couple under the night sky, or equipping the wedding party with umbrellas which can be lit spectacularly.
